Ad agency moves to Boston

Transwestern Investment Co. recently inked an agreement to lease 100,000 square feet in Boston to a full-service advertising agency relocating from Wenham, Mass.

Mullen will be moving its corporate headquarters to 40 Broad St., bringing 420 employees to the building’s top four floors. The building has been undergoing significant capital improvements, and project completion is scheduled for next month.

According to a press statement, the agency has more than doubled in size since 2000 and has expanded from traditional advertising, direct marketing and public relations services to include digital marketing, performance analytics and marketing-to-women specialty groups. Mullen plans to be in place at the new headquarters by June of 2009. Its clients include General Motors, XM Satellite Radio, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, HSBC, LendingTree, T.J. Maxx, Wachovia, La Quinta and Orbitz, among others.
