Little change in nightly real estate rates

Long-term mortgage interest rates were mostly flat Tuesday, and the
benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield rose to 3.92 percent.

The 30-year fixed-rate average dipped slightly to 5.77 percent, and the
15-year fixed rate stayed at 5.36 percent. Meanwhile, the 1-year adjustable rate held steady at 5.91 percent.

The 30-year Treasury bond yield rose to 4.66 percent.

Rates and bonds are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes
nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states.
Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.

In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 51.29 points, or 0.4 percent, finishing at 13,020.83.
The Nasdaq climbed 19.19 points, or 0.78 percent, closing at 2,483.31.
