Instant home values on WashingtonPost.com

Visitors to WashingtonPost.com’s real estate section have a new tool at their disposal: HomeGain.com’s instant home valuations.

Those who type in a U.S. street address along with a city, state or ZIP code will in mere seconds receive a free home-valuation estimate along with information on recent home sales and comparable home data.

Louis Cammarosano, general manager for HomeGain, said that WashingtonPost.com is the second online newspaper site to feature the company’s instant home-valuation tool — USAToday.com was the first.

The Washington Post this week also announced a partnership with Trulia to launch a co-branded Web site at WashingtonPost.com in which visitors will have the "ability to search for properties including open houses and new listings by neighborhood, price and property type, and also view detailed maps, local price trends, and property descriptions."
