MLSListings teams with Tarasoft, Listingbook

MLSListings Inc., a Sunnyvale-based multiple listing service, has signed separate agreements with Tarasoft and Listingbook Inc., the companies announced this week. MLSListings was created in 2007 through the merger of two MLSs in the San Francisco Bay Area region.

In the deal with Tarasoft, a Canadian real estate software development company, the 18,000 real estate agents and 6,000 brokers participating in MLSListings get access to tax and ownership history for any property in California, among other data.

The Matrix platform also allows users to compare property prices and identify foreclosure properties. Agents can also use the online tool to direct their clients to view virtual tours of properties that match their interests.

In another announcement, North Carolina-based Listingbook expands its reach to the California real estate market in partnering with MLSListings.

Listingbook is an online platform featuring client management, sales productivity and direct marketing tools that are intended to better connect agents and their clients. With the latest deal, about 30 MLSs are integrated with Listingbook tools, and those MLSs represent about 450,000 agents.
