Inman News announces new hires

Inman News has added two employees to bolster its editorial and marketing departments and has promoted Alice Myerhoff as senior vice president of Inman News.

Myerhoff, who joined Inman News in 2005, formerly served as the real estate news company’s director of sales. As senior vice president she oversees the company’s multiple revenue streams, including Inman’s Real Estate Connect conferences, online advertising and syndication.

Inman News also welcomes Andrea Brambila as a reporter and editorial assistant, and Katie Lance as marketing manager.

Brambila, a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Journalism, participated in a News21 Fellowship offered through a partnership of five universities and the Carnegie-Knight Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education.

She participated in a multimedia reporting project that highlighted the impact of the San Francisco Bay Area’s commuter rail system, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), on surrounding neighborhoods.

Brambila earlier completed internships at The Sacramento Bee; and KQED and Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB), which are member stations of National Public Radio (NPR).

Lance previously served as marketing manager for Empire Realty Associates Inc., a San Francisco Bay Area real estate brokerage company based in Danville, Calif.

She earlier served as marketing director for an independent toy store, and has also worked as a district manager, branch manager and senior field sales manager for a direct-sales company.
