HomeQuest launches WordPress plugin

Real estate software development company HomeQuest released a new WordPress Internet Data Exchange (IDX) plugin this week.

WordPress is a popular Web publishing platform among real estate professionals. The plugin hosts HomeQuest’s client-management software and allows users to search for properties on an interactive map. Users can refine their search by ZIP code, neighborhood or school boundaries. Consumers can also request showings, save searches and favorite properties, and sign up to get new matches through e-mail.

Real estate professionals can geocode and embed their blog posts on the map. They can also keep track of visitors in order to follow up with them later. The HomeQuest platform and plugin start at $79.95 per month, with a $99 setup fee, and include up to three WordPress sites. HomeQuest can set up and host the sites for users, or users can self-host.

HomeQuest is currently available in a handful of multiple listings services operating in the Boise, Portland, Phoenix, Seattle and San Francisco areas. The company reported that it plans to add MLSs in the San Diego, Southern California and Chicago areas soon.
