Walk Score offers customizable fliers for real estate agents

Walk Score — the Seattle-based provider of neighborhood walkability scores — is offering real estate agents and brokers the ability to create fliers that show off the best features of a property’s neighborhood, such as restaurants, shopping, parks and schools.

The company says its Neighborhood Flyer tool can be customized, shared online, and printed for open houses. For $5 per property, agents receive a PDF file that they can print out as many times as they want, plus a Web link to share with clients or post online.

The fliers are available as a co-branded service for brokerages, and John L. Scott Real Estate is offering them to its agents. John L. Scott will also provide Walk Score neighborhood maps and fliers to clients via JohnLScott.com Neighborhood pages and printed pieces, the companies said.

Launched in the summer of 2007 by "civic software" developer Front Seat, Walk Score now provides more than 3 million scores a day on more than 8,000 websites "to make it easy for people to evaluate walkability and transportation when choosing where to live," according to a company description.

The company provides Walk Score Professional — which displays a property’s Walk Score, a map of what’s nearby, and a commute report with drive times — either as a free ad-supported service or for a fee, depending on website traffic.

Under promotional pricing through June 30, Premium Walk Score Professional services start at $25 per month for websites with up to 25,000 visitors to month, and up to $90 per month for sites with up to 100,000 visitors per month.

Enterprise-level services for sites with more than 100,000 monthly visitors are also available, and clients include Zillow.com, ForRent.com, MyNewPlace and ZipRealty.
