Alain Pinel offers CMA iPad tool

Luxury real estate brokerage Alain Pinel Realtors is now offering its agents a comparative market analysis (CMA) tool for the Apple iPad and other mobile devices, the brokerage has announced.

The CMA tool was created through a proprietary program that dynamically creates branded, custom and interactive PowerPoint slides with multiple listing service property details and reports, the company told Inman News. Viewers can see the slides via Keynote on the iPad or similar programs on any smartphone or tablet device. The tool is also compatible with laptops and flat-screen TVs.

The tool allows the company’s nearly 1,400 agents "to showcase (a) client’s property, review comparable listings, map properties, and analyze data," the announcement said. Alain Pinel is the sixth largest in the U.S. by closed sales volume in 2010, according to Real Trends.

The brokerage has also partnered with Apple stores and mobile carriers Verizon and AT&T for agent discounts, a brokerage spokeswoman said.

The San Francisco Bay Area-based brokerage has also partnered with information technology company PC Connection to create the online APR Technology Store, which offers hardware purchases on a sliding scale depending on how much agents buy from the store.
