New real estate website platform doesn’t lock agents in

Virtual Results LLC is offering a new WordPress broker-agent website platform the company says allows brokers to provide branded content to their agents while preserving agents’ ability to move to another company without having to build a new website.

VR Broker’s Choice allows agents to choose a theme that Virtual Results designers customize to produce a personal website that reflects an their brand, the company said.

The platform has been adopted by Washington, D.C.-based brokerage M Squared Real Estate, and is powering MyDupontCircle.com and DCRealtorCapitolHill.com.

M Squared co-founder Dominic Morrocco said in a statement that VR Broker’s Choice combines the company’s expertise in website design and Internet Data Exchange (IDX) listing search and display.

Virtual Results manages plugins, hosting and general website upkeep, he said, allowing the brokerage’s marketing department "the time and freedom to work one-on-one with our agents to truly maximize their online potential."

VR Broker’s Choice doesn’t lock an agent to their brokerage’s website solution. Although the platform is branded and enhanced with brokerage-provided content, "the agent always has the ability to migrate their website without losing content," the company said.

Virtual Results Marketing Director Drew Meyers said that if an agent switches firms, "they could simply contact Virtual Results and we would convert their site to a standard, nonbroker-branded predesigned site such as mayapaveza.com and loribee.com."

Those sites feature broker logos, he noted, but not the integrated broker branding built into M Squared’s VR Broker’s Choice websites.
