Global relocation service Cartus Corp. has launched a free mobile application for its clients and their transferring employees.

CartusMobile, a download for Apple iPhones, allows employees to track the status of important elements of their move, including their moving company and language-trainer assignments, as well as expense report submissions, the company said.

Also included are employees’ profile information and key relevant move dates, contact information for their Cartus consultant, and the ability to add move-related contacts from their app to their phone.

For client companies, the app also includes the ability to track employee moves and add employees of particular interest to a list of favorites.

A dashboard provides company program statistics, and a news feed notifies clients of service evaluations received and industry best practices, among other information.

A CartusOnline user ID and password are required to access the app. Cartus is a Realogy Corp. subsidiary. The company is currently developing a similar app for the Google Android platform and plans to roll out additional features later this year, according to the announcement.
