Century 21 launches Internet radio campaign

Franchisor Century 21 Real Estate LLC is launching an advertising campaign on Pandora Internet radio, and has created its own station on the popular streaming music service.

According to Century 21, Pandora accounts for nearly 70 percent of all Internet radio listening in the U.S. The free service is accessible through Web browsers, mobile apps and Internet-enabled televisions.

"Our goal is to reach prospective customers wherever they are consuming media, and Pandora Radio certainly meets that objective," said Bev Thorne, chief marketing officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC, in a statement. "It is also a great tool for our sales professionals."

The Century 21 radio station includes on-air advertisements for the brand, giving the company exclusive branding during the entire listening session. The channel features a custom skin, so that if it is playing on a laptop at an open house or in an office, the Web page appears with the company’s branded message.

The Pandora campaign comes this year after the company ran the first Super Bowl ad by a real estate franchisor in 20 years in February and the announcement of its U.S. Soccer sponsorship in April.
