Broker edition of Cloud CMA set for release

Editor’s note: This story has been updated to correct that Greg Robertson is the co-founder of W&R Studios.

Huntington Beach-Calif.-based W&R Studios will release a broker edition of its cloud-based comparative market analysis (CMA) software application at Real Estate Connect San Francisco, which runs Aug. 1-3.

Currently, about 40,000 agents use the company’s Cloud CMA tool, which allows agents to create customized CMA reports, property reports and fliers, and buyer tours.

"Cloud CMA Broker Edition gives brokers the ability to deploy a custom solution of Cloud CMA to their brokerages," said Greg Robertson, co-founder of W&R Studios.

The broker version will include a dashboard that will allow administrators to monitor agent activity of the CMA tool, to see which agents are using what tools and how often.

Where brokers charge agents for services like these, the broker-level version of the tool is a way for brokerages to monetize the cloud-based program, to charge agents on an as-used basis, Robertson said.

The broker-level edition, whose pricing is based on broker size, also allows brokers to design custom themes for the tool, including colors, layout and branding.

The agent version of the Cloud CMA tool goes for $29 per month and $299 per year. There’s also an MLS version.

In April, a W&R Studios-developed app, Nudge — a client-focused dashboard that provides market, property information — hit the market via real estate technology and consulting firm 1000Watt Consulting.
