Imprev’s new marketing platform focused on mobile

Real estate design and marketing firm Imprev Inc. has launched a new single-property website tool featuring a "responsive" Web design, a design element that unifies a website’s layout across the various-sized devices consumers now use to browse the Web.

The tools’ single-property websites feature an image-centric design that fits up to 50 photos of a property, an info page, a Google Map (with street view) pinpointing the property’s location, a video, a lead capture form, customizable Web links and other elements like fliers.

The visual-focused responsive design helps retain a website’s general layout across multiple screen sizes, with some elements, like the property photo transitions, becoming swipe-enabled on smartphone and tablet touch screens, bypassing, in some respects, the need for native apps tailored to different operating systems and screen sizes.

For example, when viewing one of the Imprev-powered single-property websites on a desktop computer, the lead image changes size, scaling to thumbnail-size when the browser window’s squeezed and expanding, between distinct sizes as the picture gets bigger, to fill the screen when it’s maximized.

"(Responsive design websites) deliver a better user experience from all devices — desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones — automatically adjusting to the size of the user’s screen, whether it is 30 inches or 3 inches," said Renwick Congdon, CEO of Imprev, in a statement.

Responsive design has been a hot commodity in real estate lately. In September, the National Association of Realtors incorporated it into its revamped website, realtor.org.

Incorporating the "big, beautiful imagery" featured in contemporary website layouts with responsive design could be a winning combination for real estate, Inman News columnist Tom Flanagan noted in a recent article.

Imprev is marketing the single-property website marketing tool (see sample here) as an enterprise-level service to real estate brands, brokerages and multiple listing services.

In August, Imprev launched a video-creation tool that users can use to create videos using their own photos and music or those in Imprev’s stock photo and music libraries.

For some examples of responsive design done well, see InmanNext’s recent post highlighting 10 sites that incorporate the feature.
