Sawbuck’s HomeSnap mobile app now connects agents with clients

Sawbuck Realty Inc. has updated its HomeSnap mobile app, adding new branding and client engagement tools for real estate agents that allow them to connect with clients through the app.

The latest version of the HomeSnap app  — now designed to work with iPads — also features a new "Explore" aerial map tool that lets users see recent "snaps" of homes around the country on an interactive map.

"Since agents and their clients were already our biggest power users, we made it simple for them to use HomeSnap together," said Sawbuck co-founder and CEO Guy Wolcott in a statement.

To make agents "really comfortable" recommending HomeSnap to their clients, Sawbuck makes sure that clients using the app see only the agent they’re working with  — never any other agent, Wolcott said.

Washington, D.C.-based Sawbuck is an online real estate brokerage with a network of real estate agent partners also serving the Austin, Baltimore, San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Southern California’s Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Providence, San Antonio and San Diego markets.

The HomeSnap iPhone app was named "Most innovative mobile app" in the 2012 Inman News Innovator Awards. The app is also available for mobile devices running the Android operating system.
