Constellation HomeBuilder Systems acquires Z57

Toronto-based real estate software provider Constellation HomeBuilder Systems (CHS) has acquired San Diego-based Z57 Inc., maker of online marketing tools for real estate agents.

Z57, founded in 1998, offers websites, lead management and lead generation tools, including social media- and mobile-focused products, for real estate agents.

"We continue to invest in new products and services in the residential real estate industry," said Dexter Salna, president of CHS, in a statement. "Our acquisition of Z57 is an ideal partnership to continue to grow our real estate presence."

"Constellation’s experience in the real estate market will strengthen Z57’s opportunity to grow its products for our current and future clients," said Ryan Whitlock, CEO of Z57. "It’s a strong strategic move for us."

Constellation HomeBuilder Systems claims to be the largest provider of tailored homebuilding software and website products in North America and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., which acquires, manages and builds software businesses tailored to the needs of companies in a variety of industries.
