Next generation of zipForm now in beta testing

Electronic forms and transaction management system provider zipLogix says it’s now providing beta access to the next generation of its forms software, zipForm Plus.

Allowing current users of zipForm 6 Professional to take part in the zipForm Plus development process “brings priceless practitioner feedback that will better serve all of our customers,” said Walt McDonald, chairman of the board of zipLogix, in a statement.

The company said zipForm Plus is powered by HTML5 technology, meaning it’s “Java free,” and no plug-ins are required. A redesigned user interface provides quick-loading forms and an updated form viewer with easily accessible tools. A unified transaction list shows stored files and transaction forms in one cohesive list.  Improved search tools, transactions, contacts and forms are equipped with a search bar that displays real-time results. Customized email signatures are available. Once saved, they are included with each email sent from zipForm Plus.

Based in Fraser, Mich., zipLogix is a joint venture between the National Association of Realtors and Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS), a subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors.

More than 600,000 real estate professionals use zipForm, the official and exclusive forms software for NAR, which holds a 30 percent stake in the company valued at $7.3 million as of Sept. 30.

Last month, zipLogix and Stewart Title Co. subsidiary PropertyInfo Corp. announced they had signed an agreement to create a platform integrating zipLogix’s electronic forms software with PropertyInfo’s SureClose transaction management system.
