Franchisor Intero Real Estate Services launches consumer VOW site

Franchisor Intero Real Estate Services Inc. has launched a consumer-facing virtual office website (VOW) powered by CoreLogic that will give brokerages affiliated with Intero access to CoreLogic’s AgentAchieve customer acquisition and transaction management modules.

CoreLogic said Intero has extended the service contract between the companies, which previously provided the AgentAchieve desktop as a tool for sales associates. Agents will continue to have access to comparative market analysis and listing presentations, and customer relationship management tools. The extended tool will provide broker tools and feature a consumer-facing home search aided by MLS-exclusive info.

Brokerages can typically share MLS data associated with active listings with consumers freely on their websites and mobile applications. But to share more in-depth MLS data like recently sold homes, price changes and pending sales, many MLSs require them to enter into virtual office website (VOW) agreements and require that consumers using VOW sites follow a registration process.

Based in Cupertino, Calif., Intero has 2,000 agents and 60 offices worldwide. In the U.S., the firm’s affiliated brokerages are primarily located in the West.

Tucson, Ariz.-based Long Realty recently released a hybrid IDX/VOW mobile app that its developer said may be a first for the industry.
