Flat-fee real estate franchise company Help-U-Sell Real Estate has launched a tool that offers homebuyers local, real-time housing market statistics using data sourced from multiple listing services.

Market Sketch” displays information such as median list prices, average square footage, days on market, and total inventory for a selected city, time frame and listing type, the Sarasota, Fla.-based franchisor said. Homebuyers can also compare the number of properties sold per month and the median price per square foot, among other information, through charts.

Help-U-Sell franchisees can use Market Sketch as a lead generation tool by requiring registration to access the most recent market statistics and to receive a monthly Market Sketch via email. They can also use it as a lead incubation tool by sending drip emails to buyer and seller prospects, Help-U-Sell said. The tool includes written sections explaining the status of the local market and Help-U-Sell brokers can personalize certain elements of the tool.

Brokers’ contact information is included and their current listings appear in the right-hand column to encourage browsing properties for sale, Help-U-Sell said. The page also shows national mortgage rates and news, updated daily, and brokers can use the information Market Sketch provides in blog posts and social media marketing.

“We created Market Sketch to be a powerful resource for our franchisees and their clients,” said Robert Stevens, the company’s chief operations officer and chief technology officer, in a statement.

“Having this kind of real-time, local information available on-demand helps brokers, buyers and sellers make the best decisions regarding their real estate transactions.”

Help-U-Sell operates in 24 states and Washington, D.C.
