Move’s chief of staff takes the helm at TigerLead

Michael Kane, Move Inc.’s chief of staff, has taken on an additional role as general manager of real estate lead generation and management company TigerLead Solutions.

Move acquired Los Angeles-based TigerLead in September 2012. At the time, the companies said TigerLead’s co-founders — Howard Tager, Art Sawyer and Adam Ingersoll — would continue to run TigerLead, supported by their experienced management team.

Since then, Sawyer and Ingersoll have moved on after remaining for a year to facilitate a smooth transition, a Move spokeswoman told Inman News.

The management team at TigerLead has not changed, she said, and Tager remains in his role. He will work with Kane on a daily basis on TigerLead’s future, she added.

The general manager position is a new role, accommodating for growth in the company, she said. Kane has served as acting general manager since June.

Move said Kane worked closely over the past year with TigerLead’s co-founders and management team as well as Scott Boecker, Move’s chief product officer.

“Michael has established a solid collaboration with the TigerLead team over the last year, and is the natural choice to continue developing TigerLead along the strong performance path it has demonstrated this year,” said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Move, in a statement.

TigerLead’s revenues have increased nearly 50 percent as of the second quarter of 2013, Berkowitz noted.

Kane has more than 15 years of technology management experience under his belt. Before joining Move in 2010, he held executive positions at Retail Pro, Intuit, and Brio Software.
