The Houston Association of Realtors will outsource the provision of listing syndication services to its 26,000 members to Move Inc.’s ListHub subsidiary, the companies said today.

The agreement with HAR brings the number of multiple listing service and broker data sources ListHub supports to 454, representing 90 percent of the listings in the nation.

ListHub provides listings to more than 125 third-party listing portals like Zillow and Trulia. The more than 48,000 brokerage firms that use ListHub have a “dashboard” that lets them decide which listings portals they wish to “syndicate” listings to.

HAR said it decided to move syndication services to the ListHub platform “in order to provide members with consolidated marketing analytics, centralized lead and traffic routing, a centralized control panel for making all online marketing choices, and the benefit of the data licensing protections provided by ListHub through their agreements with the publishers in their network.”

In addition, HAR contracted with ListHub to provide its members marketing reports that includes analytics from websites such as realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, HAR.com and other portals. Although ListHub will distribute brokers’ listings at no charge, it typically charges for the kind of analytics being provided to HAR members.

ListHub and HAR said they will collaborate on customizing the ListHub reports for HAR members in coming months in preparation for the launch of the service.

“We are excited to work more closely with the HAR team to deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions to their members,” said ListHub General Manager Luke Glass, in a statement. “We believe that our agreement with HAR, a leader in the MLS community, demonstrates the importance of analytics in real estate marketing, and affirms the value that we have worked to deliver through the protections that we provide for brokers’ real estate listing data.”

ListHub’s parent company, Move, also operates realtor.com, the official listings website of the National Association of Realtors; Move.com, which provides information on new homes and rental listings; Moving.com; SeniorHousingNet; SocialBios; Doorsteps, TigerLead; and Top Producer Systems.
