Realtor.com operator Move acquires FiveStreet and its lead consolidation and response tool

Realtor.com operator Move Inc. says it’s acquired FiveStreet Inc., the provider of a lead consolidation and response tool for real estate professionals, to expand Move’s platform of broker and agent solutions.

FiveStreet founders Rusty Klophaus and Sebastian Traeger, who launched the company in 2012, will join Move as employees, helping the company expand the software and integrate it with existing Move offerings. The software already interfaces with Move’s Top Producer customer relationship management (CRM) platform, and integration with Move’s TigerLead system is underway.

FiveStreet’s software consolidates leads from realtor.com and more than 40 lead providers and automates the process of responding to, assigning and distributing leads. A unified dashboard helps ensure leads aren’t lost or overlooked, and provides Web and mobile tools for rapid response.

Because the system works not only with realtor.com leads but also leads generated by competing real estate sites, ” Agents are freed from the inefficiency of accessing multiple systems and dashboards to run their business,” Move CEO Steve Berkowitz said in a statement.

“Timeliness and data accuracy are hallmarks of our service to buyers and sellers,” Berkowitz said. “FiveStreet helps our customers similarly respond in a timely manner, creating an outstanding, seamless consumer experience.”

Realtor.com competitor Zillow rolled out a CRM tool last year that allows registered users to keep notes on Zillow-originated contacts, flag contacts for follow-up, and send emails. The platform also allows agents to create new contacts so they can manage everyone on Zillow.com, and export contacts so they can be managed in another CRM system.

Trulia closed a $355 million acquisition of CRM and real estate marketing provider Market Leader Inc. in August. Last month Market Leader launched an “Office” version of its Market Leader Professional CRM platform for agents, which provides brokers with detailed insight into their agents’ use of the CRM and their business as a whole.

In July Homes.com said it would provide its “Premier” clients with free access to a marketing center powered by Imprev Inc. that will integrate into Homes Connect, Homes.com’s CRM and marketing platform. Homes.com markets Homes Connect to Re/Max agents through a joint marketing agreement with the franchisor.
