1. Infill Nashville CEO John Brittle recently got to live out his childhood dream of demolishing a home with a backhoe. The firm’s brand strategist, Beth McMillian, also gave the excavator a whirl. The brokerage, whose team of agents specializes in bringing together landowners, builders and buyers to create new-home sites, then posted videos and photos of the experience on their blog and social media accounts.

“We have absolutely no machinery experience, but are allowed from time to time to ‘try out’ the excavator or other types of heavy machinery (with supervision of course) to take pictures and video of us having a little fun to share with our online readers and fans,” Brittle said.

2. Ontario, Canada-based RE/Max Escarpment Realty Inc. hosted a kid-friendly “client appreciation Christmas party” that featured Santa, elaborate decorations, hors d’oeuvres and ginger bread house-making.
