A unique approach to photography in Big Sky Country means partnering with professionals

If you’re selling houses in Montana’s “Big Sky Country” to out-of-state buyers, photography could not be more important to your marketing.

Robyn Erlenbush, broker-owner of ERA Landmark Real Estate, says buyers not only want to see the homes, they expect to “see the views, they want to see the recreation, the lifestyle.” So the brokerage has developed a unique approach to photography in which the house itself is almost a secondary concern.

“We really focus on the ‘why’ of Montana, and hoping people can actually see themselves in the photography, and see it as the home or the place of their dreams,” Erlenbush says.

Photography has changed a lot over the years. As the medium has gone digital and turned almost into an art form, “the key to our photography is really the professionals that we’ve partnered with.”
