Soon, 44,000 Mid-Atlantic agents will be able to schedule real estate showings right from Homesnap Pro, a mobile app that gives them real-time access to multiple listing service information.

In July, real estate tech company Homesnap announced it would offer the agent-only version of its popular real estate mobile app to MLSs free of charge for the first 12 months, starting with its first MLS customer, Rockville, Maryland-based Metropolitan Regional Information Systems Inc. (MRIS).

Now, Homesnap and showing management service ShowingTime have announced that they will integrate their two products in markets where both platforms are available. So far, MRIS is the only market where that is the case, but ShowingTime anticipates there will be more.

The Combined Los Angeles Westside MLS Inc. (also known as The MLS/CLAW), which also services the Palm Springs Regional Association of Realtors, was the second MLS to make Homesnap Pro available to its 14,000 members, and the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors has also signed up.

“ShowingTime for the MLS, available in more than 75 MLSs across the country, helps agents remove some of the obstacles to showing a home; adding the ‘Schedule a Showing’ button to Homesnap Pro makes perfect sense to streamline the scheduling process further,” said ShowingTime President Michael Lane in a statement.
