Mobile app provides access to multiple MLSs

Real estate brokers and agents working in markets served by several multiple listing services can dream of the day when their MLSs agree to consolidate or share data with each other.

Until that day arrives, brokers and agents who are members of more than one MLS can at least avoid having to maintain separate logins to access each one.

Missoula, Montana-based Goomzee says its Mobile MLS service connects to all major MLS system providers, detecting nearby MLSs and allowing users to switch between them. Users enter their login credentials and Goomzee authenticates against Clareity Security’s SafeMLS system. The app figures out which databases they have access to, and allows them to access agent-only information.

The Peoria Area Association of Realtors, which maintains separate residential and commercial MLSs, will use the Goomzee mobile app’s capabilities to allow members who belong to both to access them from a single interface. Goomzee collaborated with Black Knight Financial Services, developers of the Paragon MLS system, and Clareity Security on the project.

The final stages of integration testing are underway now, and PAAR members are expected to have access to the new Goomzee Mobile MLS apps this month.
