WikiRealty, a website that crowdsources information from real estate professionals for public consumption, has partnered with the Miami Association of Realtors (MIAMI) to “enhance the exchange of real estate knowledge” in the area.
WikiRealty aggregates insights from real estate professionals to serve up insider information that the site says consumers might only otherwise obtain through interacting with locals in person. In addition to serving as an “online town square,” the site displays real estate listings.
“We’re confident that joining the WikiRealty community will arm our members with greater online exposure, access to real-time information, and, ultimately, more leads,” said Deborah Boza-Valledor, chief operating officer of MIAMI, in a statement.
The partnership gives the listings of MIAMI members prominent placement on WikiRealty. As part of the agreement, WikiRealty and MIAMI, which has more than 30,000 members, will also cross-link to each other.
“WikiRealty isn’t just data or algorithms, we’re a community where users contribute their knowledge,” said Sanjay Kuttemperoor, CEO of WikiRealty, in a statement. “And we welcome contributions from anyone associated with real estate, from agents to buyers and sellers, to architects, lawyers and other service professionals.”
WikiRealty has launched in Chicago, Miami, Milwaukee, and Naples, Florida, and plans to expand to other major U.S. cities by the end of the year.
