Inman beefs up editorial coverage, adding 20 expert contributors and 2 staff journalists

Inman has added 20 additional expert contributors and staff journalists Brittany Morris and Amber Taufen to its editorial roster this week as it readies the launch of Inman Select, a major initiative that will offer members more in-depth reporting and analysis.

“This announcement marks the beginning of a significant investment by Inman in editorial talent and industry intelligence that will provide our readers with more and better real estate coverage and enable them to make smarter business decisions every day,” said Inman Publisher Brad Inman.

The news that 20 real estate industry expert contributors have been added in the past week alone follows an earlier announcement by Inman that he intends to build a cadre of writers and thought leaders representing every aspect of the industry. “We are on the hunt for the 200 brightest industry experts to become regular contributors of high-quality content,” Inman said. Taufen will work with this network of industry experts to assist them with content development and will oversee the creation of exclusive weekly content in both a news summary and data-driven format for members of Inman Select. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism, she worked at an alternative newsweekly and edited a monthly magazine for a professional association before launching her own freelance writing, editing and production management business.

Based in Washington, D.C., Morris will serve as a general assignment reporter covering public policy and legislation that affects the real estate industry. She graduated from Arizona State University with dual bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism and mass communication, and has more than four years of experience as a reporter and writer.
