The fastest-growing property search portal you’ve never heard of announced its iOS app is available in 27 countries, up from 16.
German-based Lamudi is an international property website that has more than 750,000 property listings in emerging nations. The site began a year ago with 16 countries and now covers nations in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
The app, Lamudi: Real Estate for Sale & Rent, was introduced in Algeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Zambia, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Existing users also benefited: The app is “more secure and faster to use, making searching for real estate on the go even more convenient than before,” Lamudi co-founder and Managing Director Kian Moini said.
The app’s customized search function allows users to switch between the 27 countries, and issues alerts when properties a user might like are available. The app also puts potential buyers in contact with local agents.
