RealtyTech Inc., a California-based provider of agent and office IDX websites and Internet marketing tools, has broken into the Florida market and expanded its customer base and line of products by acquiring Strategic Agent Inc.

Strategic Agent’s existing clients will be provided with RealtyTech’s Premium Suite at no extra charge, providing them with access to the entire portfolio of RealtyTech websites and the company’s IDX123 MLS Search system. RealtyTech’s Premium Suite now includes all of Strategic Agent’s website templates, and existing Strategic Agent contracts will be honored and fulfilled by RealtyTech Inc.

RealtyTech President and CEO Richard Uzelac said in a statement that the company has had its eye on Florida “for a while,” and that “recent investments have allowed us to start our eastern expansion. RealtyTech Inc. is committed to growing our products nationwide and this is just the beginning.”

Acquiring Strategic Agent has “strengthened RealtyTech’s line of products in Florida and opened new territories and opportunities,” said RealtyTech senior account executive Lance Grove.

Brokers pool Internet data exchange (IDX) listings in individual markets so they can be publicized on each other’s websites.

IDX123 now handles listing feeds from Southeast Florida MLS and MLSs throughout California.
