Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate taps broker to recruit franchisees

Fast-growing Realogy franchisor Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate has brought on industry veteran Chris Nichols to help the firm grow its footprint in Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming as director of membership development.

Nichols comes to his new post from American Fork, Utah-based Prudential Utah Elite Real Estate where he served as managing broker since 2011.

“In his role Nichols will uncover culturally aligned brokerages to bring into the BHGRE network and also help our existing brokerages grow by uncovering merger and acquisition opportunities,” said BHGRE CEO Sherry Chris.

In Nichols, BHGRE gets a heavily connected member of the industry. He’s the 2016 president-elect of the Utah Association of Realtors and currently serves as the chair of the National Association of Realtors’ social media advisory board.

BHGRE currently has more than 9,100 agents and 280 offices in its network across the U.S. and Canada.
