Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is now the exclusive residential real estate partner of the nonprofit Rebuilding Together, which helps low-income homeowners with repairs and upgrades.

As part of the partnership, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate will promote the nonprofit to its network of nearly 10,000 agents with a dedicated website, BHGRErebuildingtogether.com, and a marketing kit tailored to help the franchisor’s brokerage affiliates make participation in the organization fun and easy for their agents.

The franchisor is also encouraging all of its affiliates to connect with their local affiliate chapters of Rebuilding Together and to help the organization by sponsoring a build, hosting a fundraising event, donating on behalf of clients or spreading awareness through marketing initiatives.

“In choosing a national philanthropic partner, we looked for a cultural and values-based alignment with a partner whose mission our network would strongly support — helping people live their best lives by empowering their dream of homeownership, which closely parallels the work we do in our communities every day,” said Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

Chris joined Rebuilding Together’s board of directors in January 2013 and currently serves as its vice chairman.
