With the high cost of videographers and editors, even the most basic real estate listing videos cost a pretty penny.

But a handful of firms, including Onvedeo, RealBiz Media Group and VScreen, have sliced that price to the bone by automating the process.

To help real estate brokers and agents choose among them, Inman has laid out a chart comparing some of their features and embedded a sample video from each firm.

Using listing data feeds from MLSs and other sources, plus integrations with platforms like Google Maps, the firms create videos for listings without video professionals or even cameras.

The videos feature a mashup of listing photos, custom graphics, local information and human voice-overs — sometimes in multiple languages. And because they’re built with data feeds, they’re always up-to-date, automatically adjusting when a price or local market changes.

Big brokerages, brands and portals, such as North Carolina brokerage Allen Tate Realtors, Century 21 Real Estate and Homes.com, are part of a growing number of real estate firms creating automated videos for their listings.

Onvedeo and VScreen videos couldn’t be fresher. They don’t exist until a consumer presses play, when the live data feeds kick in and culminate in a video.

RealBiz Media Group updates its listing video database nightly.

Clinch, which recently signed a deal to power automated listing videos for Chicago-based broker Dream Town Realty, is another player in the space.
