Online property tour provider VisualTour is rebranding itself as Paradym and offering its real estate agent customers new functionality to incorporate the latest Internet technology and trends, the company announced Thursday.

This is not Paradym’s first transformation. The Knoxville, Tennessee-based company launched in 1996 as PhotoShare, offering “visual listings” that allowed agents with digital cameras to build residential photo albums to distribute via Internet, email, CD or diskette.

A few years later, PhotoShare retooled itself as VisualTour to offer real estate agents online tour creation, social media integration, and automated tour analytics and reporting.

Now, seeking an all-in-one marketing solution for the company’s platform, support team and corporate identity, VisualTour is parting with its product-based brand name in favor of a brand it says reflects its drive to create tangible solutions for agents in the field.

“Our name has served us well, and we won’t distance ourselves from the VisualTour as a core offering,” said Paradym President Steven Jarrell. “But there’s nothing we’re prouder of than our culture and history of fully integrated customer care.”

Paradym will continue to offer automated services, media creation tools, and social media and lead management solutions for agents, but members will receive upgraded features and services with the transition, including video integration and YouTube distribution.

“Integrated video scenes takes us into new territory tour-wise,” said Wayde Wyatt, Paraydm’s vice president of products and technology. “We’re not just talking about property tours anymore. Neighborhood tours, community event tours — this is the kind of personal-touch marketing that’s going to set our agents apart, especially online.”

For fees ranging from $39.95 to $99.95, Paradym offers individual agents or teams of agents a wide range of real estate marketing services, including search engine-optimized property tours, cloud and mobile access, social media automation, distribution to MLS and Realtor websites, mobile lead captures, QR codes, fliers and signs, custom link building and data analytics. The company also offers tutorials on how to use these technologies and theories in its “Success Academy” and coaches to offer support.
