Who joined forces in the Chicagoland real estate industry in October to help agents up their game, and who’s rolling out new products? Here’s our rundown, in chronological order.

October 29

Century 21 Affiliated (C21A) has partnered with The Jacobs Companies, a Chicago-area homebuilder. “This office will be a first in the North Shore for C21A, and it represents a major milestone for the company,” said broker Erik Gimbel, who will oversee the North Shore C21A office, in a statement. “Working with The Jacobs Companies means we are taking an aggressive approach to entering the market. I have big plans for the C21A and The Jacobs Companies alliance.”

October 31

Chicago-based Leading Real Estate Companies of the World announced that to date this year, 37 firms have joined the global real estate network. “We continue to grow extensively but selectively, declining nearly 80 percent of the companies that inquire about affiliation because they do not meet our requirements for market position, brand reputation, service excellence and more,” said LeadingRE President/CEO Pam O’Connor in a statement. “By offering a truly compelling business model, we attract top companies that want to combine their local success with a global reach.”
