Men continue to found the bulk of global startups, but women are catching up in some cities.
In Chicago, 30 percent of new startups are founded by women; the Windy City is closely followed by Boston, where 29 percent of new startups are founded by women.
Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Montreal round out the top five best cities for female entrepreneurs. Paris, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur round out the top 10.
