Kiser Group, a Chicago mid-market commercial real estate brokerage firm, just joined the app game.
The company’s new free download allows investors and clients to search their properties, view the Kiser Group blog, read press releases and news stories and request additional information.
The app is available for iOS and Google Play.
The product allows the user to customize their experience as either an investor or as a broker.
Investors can set up their preferences to display hits by property type, units and price. Push notifications for new listings and newsroom updates can be enabled.
All users are able to search for available Kiser Group listings based on number of units, location, asset type, price and listing agent.
“In today’s world, the ability to access information quickly and easily is paramount, and we recognized this was important for our clients and vendors,” said Lee Kiser, Principal at Kiser Group, in a statement. “With our new app, all things Kiser Group are accessible anywhere you go at the touch of the finger.”
“All things Kiser” includes the roughly two dozen agents who work at the firm.
It is estimated that there are more than 1.6 million apps available in the Apple app store. When app development first began to take hold in 2008, there were about 800 apps available.
In comparison, when Apple Watch stormed the market in September 2015, there were already 10,000 apps available for that product.
It costs about $3,000 to $8,000 to develop a simple app for a limited number of platforms, which is comparable to the cost of a reasonable quantity of printed marketing collateral, which may be obsolete by the time an investor is looking for properties.
With an app in hand when on the go, driving or walking by a potential property can yield an interested buyer who has all their initial questions out of the way by the time they use the phone to call the agent.
