1. Why did you get into this business?

I went to a seminar Oct. 15, 1983, and saw the potential to make a lot of money and be my own boss.

2. What is the biggest challenge you face right now in your business?

The business has changed a lot over the last 32 years and having to keep up with all the technology is always an ongoing challenge and my mission.

3. What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started the business?

Save your money, keep up with all your past clients, stay consistent in your prospecting and marketing.

4. Who has made the biggest positive impact on your business?

It was my wife Cindy. She always had lots of goals, always positive and happy, and an eternal optimist. I also had many great mentors and coaches: Flloyd Wickman, Jerry Bresser, Mike Ferry, Tom Ferry, Robert Kyosaki, Jim Rohn and Dr. Robert Rohm.

5. What is one thing someone could do to help you in your business?

Help me figure out the best system for technology and lead generation.

6. What tool has made the biggest positive impact on your business?

Learning about the personalities (DISC) from Dr. Robert Rohm.

7. What do you think is going to be the biggest change in real estate in the next five years?

I feel that agents are looking for great leadership, teaching, training and coaching. They also want to get the highest commission splits. There will be new companies that will offer this, and they will be the new standard of excellence. Some of the big franchises will become obsolete unless they can pivot, maneuver and adapt.
