Real estate agents who are members of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) now have access to various vendor tools and products at a discounted rate through the new CRS Marketplace platform.

The 31,000-member organization recently formed a partnership with RESAAS Services Inc., a social business platform, to develop a private-label online marketplace for agents.

The platform features products and services from more than 60 vendors. These tools are said to be used by the top agents nationally and will be available to CRS members at discounts between 10 percent and 25 percent.

CRS Marketplace incorporates existing vendors

As part of the partnership, RESAAS agreed to incorporate three of CRS’ approved vendors into the marketplace. These vendors include real estate software firm RealtyJuggler, marketing company Paradym and email follow-up service Happy Grasshopper.

“It was important to have these products and vendors included, (as) they have been through the testing of our panel,” said Stephanie Crane, director of business development for CRS, adding the organization is comprised of discerning members that represent the top realtors nationally.

Also incorporated into the new marketplace will be CRS’ ratings systems, which allows member to leave product reviews and reveal how these tools applied to their business.

RESAAS’ affiliate vendor that are part of the marketplace include BombBomb, Contactually, Hootsuite, dotloop, HelloSign, Lenovo, RealtyNinja, VerticalResponse and Brixwork.

“There’s no fat on them,” Crane said, explaining all the tools and products offered to CRS members can contribute to their bottom lines.

Along with this membership upgrade, CRS will add at least two additional business-growth tools to its membership package this year.

A non-profit, Chicago-based affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, CRS has more than 31,000 members, roughly half of which are independent agents operating without affiliation of a franchise. The organization’s largest concentration of members are located in California, Texas, Florida and the Carolinas. An annual membership costs $195.
