February 29

Clayton Holdings, which provides real estate market risk management solutions, hired Brian Wornow as its new senior managing director of lending services. “Brian’s deep knowledge of the mortgage and capital markets will help Clayton develop and enhance our customized origination, review and surveillance solutions for whole loan acquirers and their funding sources,” said Jeff Tennyson, Clayton’s chief operating officer, in a statement. “Brian is a strong addition to Clayton’s management team and an example of our commitment to providing our clients with creative and industry leading solutions.”

Leigh Canlis

Leigh Canlis will develop and run a new full-service luxury marketing division within Windermere Real Estate. “Thanks to our booming economy and international appeal, Seattle has joined the ranks of other large-scale U.S. cities, bringing with it a high concentration of wealth and luxury real estate clientele,” said president OB Jacobi in a statement. “While we’re very proud of the fact that Windermere agents already represent 40 percent of all luxury home sales in the greater Seattle area, it’s critical to continue evolving in order to meet the changing needs of our clients,” said Jacobi.

March 1

Michael Giampaolo is the new executive vice president of Stonegate Direct, announced Stonegate Mortgage Corporation. “We are extremely pleased to have Michael join Stonegate Direct and lead our efforts to grow the direct-to-consumer business,” said Jim Smith, Stonegate Mortgage president and COO, in a statement. “His extensive mortgage industry background, reputation for leading high performing business units and strong execution skills make him a perfect fit to continue building our platform.”

March 2

Bernd Stephan

OpenHouse, a company that recommends homes, neighborhoods and agents based on online data, announced that Bernd Stephan is the company’s new CFO. “Bernd is a seasoned financial professional, which makes him a great on-paper fit for OpenHouse,” said OpenHouse CEO Mazen Fawaz in a statement. “Off-paper, he shares the same level of passion for and commitment to the company and desire to elevate the consumer experience as the rest of his colleagues.”

Jamie Wilson

Realogy promoted Jamie Wilson to president and chief executive officer of ZipRealty. “Jamie Wilson has been guiding product development at ZipRealty since the company was a start-up,” said Alex Perriello, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group, in a statement. “We are excited about the new ideas that our Emeryville innovation center is developing such as the ZAPSM Store, and I am confident of Jamie’s ability to lead the ZipRealty team into the future.”
