It’s taken me a while to understand what kind of impact virtual reality (VR) will have on real estate.

Until recently, I’ve envisioned it as mainly a slick marketing touch.

However, the practicality of having out-of-town buyers use it to tour a prospective home or builders using it in their sales office made me realize that virtual reality can feasibly and dramatically reduce the number of homes a buyer agent needs to tour.

In fact, I have an idea about how VR may very well impact the future of the industry.

What are your thoughts? Can you see a future for virtual reality in real estate?
