April 27

Alex Lastra has been appointed president of the Latin Builders Association. In a statement, Randy Weisburd, A|P’s Chief Operating Officer, said, “A|P is delighted to have our Senior Managing Director serve as the President of The Latin Builders Association. Our senior team leaders continue to take leadership roles throughout our community; we commend their commitment and dedication.”

Amy Gorce

Clareity Security announced that Amy Gorce is the new President at the company. “Amy has proven herself to be a fantastic leader inside Clareity and a well respected executive and thought leader in the industry. I am personally elated to promote Amy and have her expand her leadership role at Clareity Security,” said Gregg Larson, Founder and CEO, in a statement “especially as we are now, more than ever, poised to broaden and deepen our product offerings.”

Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes is the new vice president of business development at Centralized Showing Service, Inc. (CSS), a real estate showing services company Hughes will report to President, Robert Faherty. “We are pleased to have an executive of Kevin Hughes’ caliber join CSS to lead our sales organization,” said president Robert Faherty in a statement. “Kevin’s customer-first approach aligns with our overall goal of providing value for our customers through strategic partnerships.”

John Pierce

The Rockefeller Group, a New York-based property developer, owner and investor, announced that John Pierce is the company’s new senior vice president of design and construction. “The Rockefeller Group is pleased to add a person with John’s experience in real estate operations, construction and project management to our Design & Construction group,” said Daniel L. Rashin, co-president and CEO, in a statement. “His appointment comes at an important time for the company as we advance several of our largest projects in many years and focus on growing our development pipeline.”

Jesse Sanders

Jesse Sanders is the new general manager at Compass’ D.C. office, overseeing daily operations across Compass’ four DC offices in Dupont Circle, Georgetown, Capitol Hill, and Chevy Chase.

Jim Wollberg

Halstead Property, a residential real estate brokerage firm in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, announced that John N. Wollberg has ben promoted to executive vice president and managing director. In his new position, Wollberg will work closely on the strategic direction of the firm together with Halstead CEO & Chairman Diane M. Ramirez and President Richard J. Grossman. In addition, he will maintain his current responsibilities overseeing the Park Avenue office, which he has managed since 2008. John has long been recognized for his leadership role in the industry, receiving the prestigious Henry Forster Award from the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) which is presented to a real estate professional with an outstanding record of achievement, character and conduct,” said David A. Burris, co-chairman of Terra Holdings, parent company of Halstead, in a statement. “A committed and dedicated executive, John has led the Park Avenue office to great success and still manages to find time to give back to the community — he is the ideal candidate for this position.”
