Michael Pressnall

Michael Pressnall is the new vice president of industry engagement at Buyside, a real estate analytics company. “Mike is an ideal addition to our team as the Buyside platform continues its nationwide expansion and adoption by brokers, team, and agents looking to grow their top-line business income and serve customers more effectively,” said Charles Williams IV, Buyside CEO and founder, in a statement. “Mike’s depth of knowledge in the real estate industry means that the company can better craft solutions to meet and exceed marketplace needs and solve inefficiencies in customer engagement and monetization.”

Brad Hunter

HomeAdvisor has hired Brad Hunter as its chief economist. “Over 35 million homeowners have trusted HomeAdvisor with their home projects, providing us with a wealth of home improvement data that can serve as a barometer for what’s going on in the economy at large,” said Chris Terrill, CEO of HomeAdvisor, in a statement. “As our chief economist, Brad is the perfect expert to distill HomeAdvisor data into the kind of valuable and actionable insights that will keep our industry apprised of key trends in economy, housing, and home improvement.”

Michael Fanelli

Vanguard Properties announced that Michael Fanelli is the new sales director at Vanguard’s Healdsburg office. “I couldn’t be more delighted than to be aligned with the most forward-thinking, design driven, technologically advanced, and customer satisfaction-focused real estate brokerage in Northern California,” said Fanelli in a statement. “My aim as Sales Director is to ensure that our real estate professionals are the best trained marketers and savviest negotiators so as to consistently provide the highest standard of care while representing our buyer and seller clients’ needs.”

Michael A. Carroll is the new CEO and member of the board of directors at Devonshire REIT, a real estate investment trust. “This is a huge step forward in Devonshire’s evolution,” said Chris Campbell, Devonshire REIT’s current CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in a statement. “We believe that Michael’s experience along with the significant depth and breadth of his industry contacts will enable Devonshire REIT to continue its growth and improve shareholder returns.”

Amy Binstein

Bradford Allen, a commercial real estate firm, has hired Amy Binstein as the director of research and corporate communications. 

Ryan Hull

Ryan Hull is the new strategic business solutions director for Cartus’ China operations. “We are delighted to welcome Ryan to Cartus. He will be a valued addition to our sales team in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Nigel Passingham, Cartus’ vice president of strategic business solutions EMEA & APAC. “Ryan has worked in various business development roles for global corporations in China, which will serve him well in his new position.”

John Porath

PHH Home Loans announced that John Porath is the new regional executive for the southeast region in Clearwater, Florida. In a statement, Ralph Melbourne, senior vice president of the PHH Mortgage Real Estate Channel, said, “I am pleased to have John join the PHH Home Loans family and feel confident that he will continue his track record of successfully managing sales organizations. I have no doubt that his insight, leadership and industry experience will be invaluable to the Southeast, as well as to the PHH Home Loans team.”

Joel Cambern

Triangle Real Estate Group has hired Michael Rose as division president of its new home auction division. “In a market with many multiple offer scenarios. We are excited to provide this additional service to our clients,” said CEO of Triangle Real Estate Group, Katherin Burnette. “Triangle area sellers will benefit from gaining the highest and best price for their property with auction marketing.”
