Nestigator unleashes ZIP-specific agent advertising

Last year, Los Angeles-based Nestigator launched as a tool set to change the homebuying experience and revolutionize the way people explore a community. Now it’s added a new feature to reach that target.

As of May 24, real estate agents can advertise alongside listings with Nestigator’s ZipPro.

What’s Nestigator do, again?

The home search site’s goal is to create an all-in-one guide to a neighborhood where buyers can communicate and collaborate with friends and family members during the process.

The sleek listing pages are linked with Yelp, with a map and listing functionality for users to find rentals and for-sale properties within a specific neighborhood. Users can also create profiles, favorite homes and ask other members of their circle to comment.

How can agents advertise?

Agents subscribe to a ZIP code for ad placement on active listings and no competition. For the remainder of 2016, Nestigator is capping each ZIP code to three agents to cut down on hyperlocal competition and maximize reach.

“When searching for a place to live, you are also thinking of all the people whose input matters to you, and who can help you narrow down the list of options out there,” Jerry Slavonia, CEO of Nestigator, said in a statement.

“Nestigator understands this collaborative process and lets you build your online home search dream team with your network of family, friends, and agent, so finding your next home is easier and much more fun.”

Nestigator advertising rates with ZipPro start at $50 per month for “for sale” listings and $10 per month for “for rent” listings. In each category for each ZIP code, only three agents have an opportunity to claim a spot.

Although all real estate agents can use the free service through Nestigator to work with clients and their family members, the paid version will make the platform a lead generating tool as well.

“When you subscribe to ZipPro, you show up as a preferred agent on listings in that area, plus competitive advertising is removed from your listings,” Slavonia said.

Nestigator is hoping to create an even more comprehensive home search platform with the new advertising feature. Agents can use the site as a management tool to organize accounts and more.
