June 13

Jeremy Walker

Jeremy Walker has been named the new CEO Alabama Realtors.

Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) in Chicagoland announced that Art Carter, CEO of California Regional Multiple Listing Service, is the new strategic manager of MRED’s board. “Art Carter is one of the most respected voices in our industry,” said MRED president and Chief Executive Officer Rebecca Jensen in a statement. “His broad industry experience and noteworthy accomplishments will be invaluable to MRED as we address the many challenges ahead.”

June 14

J. Douglas Watt was appointed senior vice president and chief audit executive at Fannie Mae. “Doug has significant audit experience and he will be a great addition to our leadership team,” said Timothy J. Mayopoulos, president and chief executive officer at Fannie Mae, in a statement. “Doug joins us at a time of important change for the company and his experience will be highly valuable as we continue to improve our company and create a strong, sustainable housing finance system,”

Zulma Chavez

Long & Foster Real Estate, a leading residential real estate brokerage, has promoted Zulma Chavez to the position of business development manager for Hispanic markets for its Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) division. “In today’s continually changing real estate market, it is critical that our business is supported by experienced and talented leaders like Zulma,” said Pandra Richie, president of Long & Foster’s CRES division, in a statement. “I’m confident that with Zulma’s relocation expertise and strong background in real estate, our company will continue to see future growth and success.”
