Chicago White Sox closer David Robertson knows a thing or two about moving up. After legendary Yankees pitcher Mariano River retired in 2013, it was on Robertson to take over the closing role in New York City.

The Alabama native excelled at the tough job, making the MLB All-Star Game in 2014 and using his hot year as leverage to sign a four-year, $46 million contract with the White Sox — part of which he used to move up in the real estate game.

As part of its Home Field Advantage series, Coldwell Banker caught up with Robertson to check out his newly renovated Chicago family pad, on top of which Robertson and his wife added a rooftop deck to enjoy those glorious Chi-Town summers.
