For homebuyers and sellers, having the knowledge of local real estate trends and home values is key.

And because having localized information as a real estate agent is just as important as having a platform on which to share that information, HomeActions has teamed up with Onboard Informatics to keep real estate agents and brokers constantly informed.

HomeActions is a client relationship service specializing in email newsletters, while Onboard Informatics uses data as an engagement tool. The pair together is now offering two hyper-local features.

Announced August 19, HomeActions’ 3 million members will now have access to an automated valuation model (AVM) and AddressReport (AR) fueled by the data from Onboard Informatics. Helping to engage and inform users, these tools are intended to position the real estate professional as the local expert.

For $20 a month or $200 a year, real estate professionals across the country can access metrics and reporting information to provide their contacts with tons of information.

“This is an enormous advantage for both real estate agents and their clients. The agents get to provide a unique service to their prospects, and the consumers get to unveil the estimated property values of their own homes — or homes they want to buy — as well as key details about the neighborhoods,” Barry Friedman, founder and CEO of HomeActions, said in a statement. “With HomeActions, we push out via email in-demand content and widgets to everyone in their databases.”

The AddressReport features helpful information beyond home prices and sales, including school data, transit information and more. The tool works with the email newsletter, and when a contact decides they want to receive complete data on a property after viewing the newsletter, they can fill out a request form. Agents then get an immediate alert of the interest.

Whether purchasing a home to live or for an investment opportunity, the AddressReport is a direct delivery of important information in making that decision. Professionals who use the AddressReport email newsletter can then tailor their technique to reach out to leads who have shown interest in a property or neighborhood.

Automated valuation model

The automated valuation model is used to offer buyers and sellers an accurate range in a specific neighborhood. Using proprietary algorithms and data from 150 million properties throughout the nation, the AVM engages users to find out truly whats going on in the area.

Home value trends, median income and nearby amenities are a few of the things pulled for the AVM to help users understand the value of their own or another property. Similar to the AddressReport, real estate professionals get instant notification of interest from contacts.
