5 Miami condos raising the luxury standard in 2016

One Thousand Museum / Zaha Hadid Architects

The Miami cityscape is lined with high-end residential properties and outstanding pieces of architecture, so finding a home fit for royalty can be fun if one has the pockets — but some people would rather have that new-condo smell instead of buying someone else’s.

These five striking Miami condominium developments are either under construction or recently finished, but all of them have one thing in common: luxury lifestyle.

One Thousand Museum

One Thousand Museum / Zaha Hadid Architects

The late architect Zaha Hadid’s first and only residential skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere is currently under construction in Downtown Miami. When complete, One Thousand Museum will feature impressive amenities, including an aquatic center and helipad on the rooftop. The ground level includes plans for retail and restaurants with views of Biscayne Bay and the Port of Miami for residents and guests to enjoy.

Jade Signature

Jade Signature Pool / Fortune International Group

Set on the shores of Sunny Isles Beach, Jade Signature from Herzog & de Meuron is currently rounding out construction on the 51st floor with plans to complete the tower by early 2017. The 57-story Miami condominium tower is being brought to life by veteran residential developer Fortune International Group, with exquisite features like a cold-press juice bar, beachfront fitness center, sunset yoga deck and resort deck with swimming pool.

Park Grove

Park Grove / OMA

Located in the historic Coconut Grove neighborhood, Park Grove from the renowned Rem Koolhaas of OMA marks the architect’s first residential project in the United States. Future residents are within one of Miami’s top school districts (Miami-Dade County Public Schools) and located across from Regatta Park. Condos at Park Grove offers full views of Biscayne Bay, a signature spa, fitness center, private screening room and five acres of private, landscaped gardens.

Palazzo Del Sol

Terrace Lounge / Palazzo Del Sol

Fisher Island is now home to Palazzo Del Sol, a 10-story property with 43 homes that range between three and seven bedrooms. Aside from immaculate interiors, the Mediterranean-style Miami condominium tower features a terrace lounge, indoor/outdoor bar area, private massage rooms and salon. Palazzo Del Sol is now open and welcoming new residents.

Faena House

Faena House / Facebook

This 18-story contemporary tower designed by Foster + Partners recently opened on Miami Beach with 47 luxury oceanfront units, which aim to maximize the tropical setting with an indoor-outdoor concept brought to life by massive sliding glass doors. Residents of Faena House are near nightclubs, hip restaurants and benefit from full access to services at the Faena Hotel next door.
