What Christian Grey’s ‘50 Shades’ penthouse looks like in real life

If you are anything like the 125 million “Fifty Shades of Grey” owners, you’ve thought about Christian Grey’s lavish lifestyle. And for a mere $8.8 million, you can live in the Escala — the same building from the book series.

“The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ penthouse hit the market on August 13 and is already pending,” Seattle Redfin agent Sabrina Booth said in an email.

Although you won’t find a playroom in this 5,170-square-foot penthouse, you will find three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 280 degrees of picturesque views of Seattle that include the Space Needle, Elliott Bay and the Olympics.

“The property features drop-dead gorgeous views of Seattle, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private elevator and is housed in the Escala building made famous by the salacious book series,” Booth said.

The Escada has 24-hour concierge service with a private spa, lap pool gym, yoga studio, private dining room, theater and a full kitchen and dining area with room for 140 guests.

This is the first time the condo has been on the market since 2010, which is also the year the building was built.
