The best way to stay on top of technology and social media is to make it your business to do so. Research it to death.
There are two websites that are critical for success:

Here’s a simple trick I use: Simply go to YouTube and Google, and type in “real estate technology.” Then look at the date, and obsessively absorb all the information you can. Take what you like, and implement it into your business.
Another great resource is Inman Select (insert shameless plug). For a relatively small subscription fee, you can stay up-to-date on the latest the industry has to offer.
