Constellation Software Real Estate Group is steadily adding to its portfolio of SaaS companies for real estate. The software giant acquired Real Estate Digital from Xome Holdings on Thursday.

Constellation owns just over a half-dozen brands that offer real estate software services, including Market Leader, Sharper Agent, Zurple, Z57, Diverse Solutions and Birdview.

With Real Estate Digital, the conglomerate is adding a slightly different product. Real Estate Digital provides integrated services across technology, media and data to franchises, brokerages, agents and multiple listing services.

“We’re constantly looking to grow that group. Real Estate Digital has a strong customer base, a strong product,” Constellation president Scott Smith said. “Its e-signature transaction management, we think, is a great fit within our portfolio.”

Along with Real Estate Digital’s product, the firm is excited about some of the clients the software serves. Constellation’s existing brands are licensed to 500,000 agents, the firm said.

“They have a strong licensing of their product across Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Real Living,” Smith said.

One component of Real Estate Digital, the product reDataVault, is staying with former parent company Xome.

“Constellation has a proven history of supporting and growing its many software companies, and the Real Estate Digital team looks forward to leveraging that experience to increase service levels to our customers,” Real Estate Digital General Manager Rich Lull said in a statement.

“We see this as an opportunity to refine our focus on our business of helping real estate franchises, brokers, agents, MLSs and the consumers they touch.”
